Jesse and James Sandlin were brothers; their parents were William Thomas Sandlin, Sr. and Debra Jones. Jesse was born 2-21-1847 in Baker County GA, and married twice, having 11 children. James was born 7-18-1850 in Randolph County GA, and died 2-9-1939 in Nacogdoches County TX. He married Amanda Josephine Smith, and had 7 children.
