Stravo Lukos and they dressed like that in the heat of summer!!
Sherie Kelly Lovely picture but I would chock to death in that collar!
Martha Jo Bennett Wish ladies still wore hats.
Dorothy White Rader Some of us do! I started wearing them to Church on Communion Sunday's right after I saw Aretha Franklin's hat several years ago. Found out several other women had wanted to do so, but had been afraid to do it. Once I began wearing them, they got brave and did so also. You be the one to wear those hats! Makes you feel lovely and men open doors for you at restaurants too. Wearing a hat seems to "command some respect" these days! God bless you!
Melissa Marie Wells She looks like the Wicked Witch of the west from the Wizard Of Oz lol...
Angela Marie Scannella For those asking why the women isn't smiling, remember how long it took to take a photograph with early photography equipment. It was not just an instant 'click.' As a result, people who posed for a portrait did tend to look overly serious, and it was just what everyone was used to. Try smiling and see how long you can hold It before your face starts to crack. Can you hold It for several minutes If needed?
Barbara Dominici Lara Mariotti O.o fisionomia spaventosamente simile alla tua!!!
