Scanned copy of John Avery's Naturalization paper received from Marge (Michaelis) Bristow. I will try to recite the words as I see them:
Probate Court in and for the County of Ottawa and State of Ohio. I (John Avery) an alien and native of (England) being duly sworn depose and say that I first arrived in the United States in the month of (July 1870), and that it is bona fide my intention to become a Citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Poteutate, State or Sorereignty, whatsoever and particularly all allegiance and fidelity to (The Queen of England) whose subject I am. Deb Henderson Is this the John Avery Married to Hannah, and had a daughter by the name of Ruth Avery? Was he born in 1809?

Gema Kaminer I originally had all of the descendants listed of Christiana & George Bristow & Robert & Anna Avery, but this timed out on me, erasing everything I'd wrote. I don't want to chance that again!

Gema Kaminer Kayde, this is John Robert Avery married to Mary (Derry). John Robert was born in England July 27, 1817.
