John Galvin Daly
Great Great Grandfather John Galvin Daly was born about 1853 in NY. He was a coal miner then tannery worker in Blossburg, PA. When he retired he moved to Corning, NY where he died in 1920. He married Minnie Hyde, an Irish immigrant school teacher, in Blossburg, PA. They had 5 kids, 2 died as babies, and 3 lived to grow up. He and Minnie and the babies are buried in St. Andrew's Cemetary in Blossburg, Pa.

We just discovered on Ancestry.com that he moved to Corning, NY and worked on a railroad as a laborer then he retired.
