This is my uncle, John Lynn Mort, before going to France as part of the American Expeditionary Forces. He died in France as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 116th Field Signal Battatlion, on 22 November 1918.There is an American Legion post in Lake Elsinore, CA, named for him.

Susan Mort Your wrong about this photo, This is William Budd Mort, who survived WWI and is my grandfather. I have the original picture of John Lynn Mort who died in WWI and he is my great uncle.
