John Wesley Burress/Burris was born October 16, 1854 Wayne county Kentucky. He married Sarah Isabelle Perryman (Belle) March9,1874 . Sarah was born December 1855 in Russell county Kentucky. She died June 10, 1931 in Adair county Kentucky. John's mother died giving birth to him.His mother's name was Elizabeth Dehart. Both John and Sarah resting place is at Bearwallow Cemetery in Columbia, Kentucky, Adair county.John and Sarah had eight children: Charley, william Frank, Mirtie , Waiteville, Peter T., Irvin, Lottie, Logan.
