MR JOHN A BRYANT

DEEPEST REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT IT IS OFFICIALLY REPORTED THAT PRIVATE JONATHAN O BRYANT INFANTRY WAS WOUNDED IN ACTION DEGREE UNDETERMINED ABOUT JULY THIRD INFORMATION WHEN RECEIVED

(Notice this is 5 months after being wounded)

Patsy Norman Could that not be a badly printed 8 as there was no 1914-18 war in 1913 nor do I rfemember USA been in any other conflict in 1913...but if that is 1918 it would make more sense and as it ended in November of that year it is possible this was among many telegrams that came to many homes in that month......

Gary Wisser Thanks Patsy. I do believe you're right. I changed the 1913 to 1918.
