I'm from the Benoit, Benoist line from Saint Louis Missouri. My Great Great Grandparents are Toussaint Benoit Dit Seraphim & Marie Louise (Martineau) Benoist. My Gr Gr. Grandparents moved from St. Louis to Florissant Mo. around 1821, they had 4 children 3 survied. Emily,Caroline and Michael my Great grandfather. We are looking for Toussaint Benoit's parents we have had no luck on locating them any where. Toussaint Benoit bought several pieces of property in St. Louis plus own a Bakery. He sold these propertys to buy land in Florissaint mo. We know his death date by the Saint Ferdinand records but no birth date on him as yet.I am als looking for his their daughter Caroline Benoist Married to Auguste Regis Aubuchon they where married in Saint Louis Mo. and also lived in the Florissant Mo.area. Toussaint was first married to Margaret Michel Dit Taylon in St. Louis 1812 they had 9 children we know at least 5 made it to adult hood and we know at least 3 where married and 1 we know of that had children.Their children names are Zelia,Charles,Toussaint,Francois,Louis,Jean Baptiste, and Margurite. We also know that Francois married Rosile and they had 2 children,Margurite married Frederick Lord no know children at this time. Most of this information is from Toussaint Benoit's will naming his heirs.Caroline Benoist married Auguste Aubuchon 1859 St. Louis Mo. they had 4 know children Frederick,Zeller Roger,Charles and Toussaint Michael, we only know of one marriage of these and that is Zeller Roger to Maria Guittar 1899 Saint Louis Missouri,they had 11 children and of these 11 children I have one marriage for Zeller Frederick DeLyons Aubuchon to Estelle Marie Burrows 1923 St.Louis Mo.Please any information on any of these people is welcome.
