Lee Kennedy
This photo is titled "Lee Kennedy", but this person looks very, very much like the Marlar side of the family. My grandfather, Henderson Marlar is the spitting image of this man, but I don't know the Kennedys of Oklahoma. I do know that Lee and Addy lived in the Enid, Ok area until their deaths. This photo was taken appx. 1915. I know this because I have a photo of Henderson with two of his young sons taken in the same setting - sons, Virgil and Woodrow were born 1911 and 1912. Grandma and grandpa weren't too good about labeling their photos.
Date & Place: at Hominy in Osage Co., Oklahoma USA

Henderson Marlar was my grandfather too! My father was Virgil and Woodrow's brother. I would love to see the photo you have. My father was Harmon and born in 1919. All together, they had 7 kids, one passing away as a small child.
The ended up living and dying in OKC.

I've been working on my family history since the mid 70s. I've met so many distant cousins and made great friends via these sites. I love in Oklahoma.
