Lyman Child Ackerman, b. Feb 24, 1787. (was the son of Robert Ackerman) lived Saratoga Co., NY, and died March 17, 1861. He was buried Luther Hill Cem., Pillar Point. He married Abigail Hammon, buried same place. He was a bricklayer and itinerant preacher of the Meth.Epis. church. He served as a private in the War of 1812. The family lived in Pillar Point, Jefferson Co., NY.
