This is a bit spooky . I was just trying to find my possible Armstrong relatives because My Father never knew his birth parents only knew his siblings and his parents names and age on their birth certificates. Their father as on the certificates is Louis j Armstrong age 30 in 1943 in Stl,MO that would put his birth year around 1913 and I am not really having much luck. when I came across this site and Lynn's pic. It Almost could of be a pic of myself as female, Not only I'm a Armstrong I was also born in 1971 my mom always told me that I was over a month late witch would of made my birth around May . My Armstrong nose had been broken the same place as hers and when I still had teeth our k9s and hair were just alike.
As I was reading Lynn's obituary a cold chill creeped over me . When I was growing up I would have a reoccurring dreams of my infant daughter and myself being killed when I turned 30 by my wife. I was becoming convinced that It was coming true when in the yr 2000 my 2nd daughter was born we mutually spilt up after I caught her cheating on me for the fifth time and she didn't want to continue in helping raising our children together). She gave me full custody of our two girls and she sent her 2 boys to the oldest boys father in Vermont and we moved far away from each other.
Even more similarities. I had joined the Us Army too and had big Military career in mind but I didn't reenlist after 8 yrs as a Combat engineer because my oldest daughter was born and I didn't trust my wife's ability to handle 2 toddler's and a infant by herself and I was right. All she wanted to do is run the streets of Bremerton Wash with her friends and mess around with the Navy Men . Sorry for my going on about my wife and her infidelities' but It has a lot to do with my fear of my reoccurring nightmares coming true for me and my Children . For me the warning signs that I observed in my own life journey it may of saved my life but who knows .Another thing that Lynn and myself may have a connection to each other is She was working for her MBA at Webster University. I had worked for Webster University as a cook around 1999 I was fired for defending myself from a black co-worker with a butcher knife and I hurt him bad and of course he pulled the race card out.
I got fired and he didn't. otherwise I could of still be working there today. I loved that job. I do not know when Lynn started her classes or what campus she went to it was just nutters of the fact that we could of crossed paths at some point in our possible doppelganger lives. O I just remembered my ex wife's middle name believe it or not it is Lynn.

Lynn Ann (Armstrong) Reister
On May 24 2001, the body of Lynn, a Captain in the United States Army, was found in her home by her husband, Roger (also in the US Army - a Sergeant). Lynn was 6 months pregnant and they also had a 4 yr old son. Lynn and Roger had been married for 5 years but the marriage was "troubled", with each accusing the other of having had multiple affairs. Other people had heard Roger complaining that if they obtained a divorce, Lynn might get custody of their son. He was also concerned that he would have to pay child support. When Roger returned after working on the base all day and in the company of their 4 year old son, they found Lynn. who had been stabbed 6 times around the head and neck and had six "defense wounds" on her hands. The defense wounds lead investigators to conclude that she has fought for her life. Previous to her murder, Lynn had consented to Roger's brother, Rodney, moving into their home so that Rodney could get his life together. Rodney had been in trouble with the law, not for violent acts but for minor crimes. Eventually, Rodney was convicted of murdering Lynn. He appealed the conviction but his appeal was denied. In the appeal, the Court summarized Lynn's murder this way: "On May 24, 2001, the thirty-year-old deceased, Lynn Reister, was found with her throat slashed in a bedroom of her home in El Paso, Texas. She was about six months pregnant and she had defensive wounds on her hands. The ensuing investigation centered upon her husband, Roger Reister, and her brother-in-law, the Appellant, Rodney Reister. The investigation revealed that Roger Reister was a sergeant in the Army and his wife, Lynn, was a captain. Their marriage was in difficulty, and when Lynn Reister was deployed to Saudi Arabia in March, 2000, Roger stayed behind and engaged in partying activity at their house. He also had sexual relations with several woman. The evidence adduced at trial revealed that Roger Reister became concerned that if his wife found out about his activities, the military would take action against him and he would lose custody of the couple s son, and he would have to pay child support. He began soliciting various people to kill his wife. Appellant was one of those people. The killer was to be paid from life insurance proceeds and from other property. Roger Reister recruited one individual to kill his wife, but the attempt failed when that individual was scared off by a neighbor. Roger Reister became concerned as his wife was soon to be transferred to Minnesota to teach ROTC. Appellant agreed to kill his sister-in-law. Roger Reister arranged for Appellant {Rodney} to enter the home. He surprised Lynn Reister in bed and killed her with a knife. The police investigation revealed a bloody palm print on her body made by Appellant. A warrant issued for Appellant. After his arrest, Appellant confessed during questioning to having killed Lynn Reister at the behest of his brother." There are so many disturbing aspects of what was truly a brutal murder, not the least of which is that her husband pretended to find her body and involved their 4-year-old son in the sham. There were so many twists and turns during the investigation that at least 2 shows - Dateline and ID's "Shadow of Doubt" - highlighted the crime on their shows. While both Roger and Rodney were convicted of murdering Lynn, Roger still blames his brother and proclaims his innocence. I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
