Mabel Paige - Actress
Lifetime actress Mabel Paige appeared in over 50 silent films and 'talkies' from 1914 through 1953. The daughter of two actors, Mabel Paige made her stage debut at the age of 4, and by adulthood established the Paige Theater in Jacksonville Florida. Paige starred in silent comedies with her husband Charles Ritchie and the famous Oliver Hardy. One of Mabel Paige's last appearances was in an episode of I Love Lucy as "Mrs. Hansen" in "The Girls Go Into Business". This promotional print was for her 1899 film "The Idol of the South" produced by Marshall's Musical Comedy Company.
Mabel Paige was born on December 19th, 1880 in New York and died in Van Nuys Los Angeles California February 9th, 1954.
