Major Henry Wells served with our ancestor, Dr. James Sykes. who was stationed at Keokuk IA, Chatanooge TN, Devalls Bluff AR, Ft. Dodge, Ft. Riley & Ft. Levenworth KS. also at Ft. Abraham Lincoln ND. (This may not be a complete listing of his service) He was discharged Mar 1868 in St. Louis. We have not been able to determine that Major Henry Wells is related to Dr. James Sykes. ... show more
