Mark Burris obit. - 16 September 1899 - 20 July 1919 - Tragic accident, 19 year old Mark was killed when his horse jumped off the Roaring River Bridge with Mark while he was on the way to a party at the childhood home of my mother, nearby farm of his 1st cousins. The horse stood over his body in the shallow river all night, causing some boys to find the body (next morning) when they recognized his horse and went to see about it.
