Mary Edna (Barnes-Barry) Porterfield of Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas was born on November 6, 1930 to Lawrence Barry and Mary Margaret Tremblet. Mary Porterfield had siblings Shirley Barry Bennett, Cora Duffy Gilliam, and Marie Barry Flowers. Mary's partner was Harold B. Barnes, and they had a child Marie (Barnes) Brewer. She would also marry James Harold Porterfield, and they had children James Barry Porterfield, Harry Curtis Porterfield, and Lissa A. Adkins. Mary Porterfield died at age 78 years old on March 18, 2009.
