He married Aleph Loucinda Dunnington b: 19 October 1856 in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, d: 14 June 1939 in Port Clinton, Ottawa Co., Ohio, they married on 25 October 1874 in Louisiana. Children of Millard & Aleph LaNier: William Finley; Joseph Francis [Frank]; Cora Jane; Robert Filmore; James Floyd; Willis Farrel; Albert Fredrick; Edgar F. & Philip Edward LaNier.
