My father's father's mother, Mary DVORAK from BOHEMIA
This is a lovely OLD tintype or ambrotype photo that used to have a cover that you'd close over it to protect the photo. This has since come off and all that is left is the clasp next to the photo itself..you can see it on the right side. The back is leather bound. Dad THINKS it is his grandma, Mary Dvorak, but being that she died when he was only 2, (1931)...it is hard to tell exactly who it is. Notice the lovely prayer book she is holding in her hand.

Is it Mary Dvorakova from Bohemia??? WE just don't KNOW.....anybody have any ideas?
Date & Place: at Possibly Mary Dvorak in Muscoda, Grant County, Wisconsin United States

Actually I DON'T know the age of this woman in the photo, but I conferred via email with my 2nd cousin (Robert Dvorak's daughter Trisha) and she told me that she also believes this to be our great grandmother! AWESOME! Mary DVORAK only spoke Czech, so I don't know anything about her except when and how she died in 1931. I also have death certificates for her husband Wencil, 3 of her 4 sons, Frank, Joseph, Vandy.
