Nancy Susan Smith Hodge
This is a photograph of my great great grandmother on my mother's father's side of the family. She was born on 26 November 1842 in Neshoba, Monroe County, Mississippi and was named Nancy Susan Smith. Her parents were George Smith and his wife, Emeline Sanders. Family and friends called her Nannie. She married the Rev. Robert Archibald (R.A.) Hodge. She died on 2 June 1887 in Cherokee, San Saba County, Texas and was buried in the Feazle Cemetery. If you are a descendant of Nannie and the Reverend R.A. Hodge, please contact me at [contact link]. We just might be related!
