President William McKinley, Jr.
President William McKinley, Jr. giving his inaugural address on March 4, 1897. The outgoing President, Grover Cleveland, is watching from what looks like a comfortable chair!
This photo was taken at his first inaugural address. William McKinley was elected to a 2nd term but was assassinated shortly after, on September 5, 1901 (he was shot that day and died 8 days later).
