Prohibition Beer Destroyed
A truckload of beer was destroyed in Washington DC during Prohibition. The beer was en route from Philadelphia, confiscated, and destroyed in DC (look at the pile of broken bottles in front of the men). There were 749 cases of beer (18,000 bottles). That's a lot of throwing!
