Reformed Dutch Church of Schoonrewoerd Nederlands
This is the Dutch Reformed Church of Schoonrewoerd, built in 1701, as it stands today. It is one of the oldest buildings in the village where our family lived when Cornelisz Jansen brought his son to New Nederland. This was the first stop on my pilgrimage tour in 1976. The village is still mostly dairy farms. Rev. Dirck Texelius, Uncle of Cornelisz, was the 5th Minister in 1637.
