Republican rants against Democrat Presidents are nothing new. In 1937, Republican Representative Hamilton Fish, New York, is calling for an investigation into the income tax returns of Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt and James and Elliot Roosevelt, sons of the President. At the same time he also asked for a probe of the tax returns of Secretary of Treasury Morgenthau and the Secretary's wife and father Henry Morgenthau, Sr.
Did you hear of any of these being convicted of tax evasion? No? Because they weren't. But he looks very adamant about his cause!
