By all appearances, this photo may have been taken toward the end of or right after the Civil War. Since the relative among whose things it was found was raised in Virginia on or near Lee's Plantation, the women may be part of, or even the co-founders of the Sisters Of The Confederacy. I need to find out if anyone recognizes this group or knows who the women are. There was nothing written on it, it is not in my possession. My aunt Sallie Marie Zahn has it. I photo'd it with my digital. It was in Gr-Aunt Lillian's things, she married a Davis. (Davis, Lee Or Zahn)

Debby Styles-Snedeker I am sorry the commit about them living in the Steiner houses I made is a mistake .....Lillian's daughter Hazel married Wendell Ebner it was Wendell's family that lived in the Steiner St house... Wendell's parents were Gustauve Wendell Ebner and Mary Ellen Cooney.
