Donna Smith Well, they look like farmers, with their horses. However, I believe they were playing baseball. One of them appears to be holding a baseball bat.

Carol Van Sickle This could be a farm team of hands who might have played baseball. You might check with the historical society that meets at Van Hoosen Farm. They have a lot of members who might recognize some of these men, but may not know of this site. Contact me.... I grew up in Rochester and know of some people who might be of help. [contact link]

Jl P HI, I have the same EXACT photograph it's mounted on a grey board. The back reads "Kingsbury Art Studio" Rochester, Mich. I also have an accompaning photo with the same exact men where most are standing and some are on a stripped down tree with climbing apparatus. The pictures belonged to my step grandfather - Paul Borowski - who I believe is the 4th man sitting going right to left. If you would like me to scan the other photo and send it to me. I was told they were loggers and possibly had something to do with the telephone company. I know my step grandfather was into tree conservation. [contact link]
