My father told me the story of the court house burned down in Marksville, LA and she was adopted so they didn't have her records. She was born on the Indian Reservation (Marksville, LA) and was taken from her family and adopted by white families when she was a baby. Mommee had special abilities. She could see, and she was a healer. She had a sister, adopted by another family and a brother (Leon Dozat) who was adopted with her. ... show more
