Ruby Merle (Woodward) Salvail of shreveport, caddo parish County, Louisiana us was born on December 6, 1924 at Home in Campti, Natchitoches Parish County to Vivian (Goodson) Woodward and William Armond "Willie" Woodward. She had siblings William Woodward, Ashley Thomas "Woody" Woodward, Betty Jo (Woodward) Gay, Doris "Teny" (Woodward) Todd, Ellen Frances (Woodward) Barr, Ella Marie Woodward, James Edward Woodward, and Edna Maxine "Mackie" (Woodward) Hester. She married Ferdinand "Ferdie" Pershing Salvail, and had children Michael Curtis Salvail, Paul Harmon Salvail, Deborah Anne Salvail Cummins, Mary Loretta Salvail, Andre Woodward Salvail, Donna Lynn Salvail Gayer, and Ferdinand Pershing Salvail, Jr. Ruby Salvail died at age 82 years old on August 6, 2007, and was buried in August 2007 at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport.
