Shakespeare Productions
Sir Francis Robert Benson produced all but two of Shakespeare's plays. (And, obviously, he acted in them as well!). A British actor, he founded his own company in 1883 and was knighted by King George V in 1916 after a performance of "Julius Caesar" at Drury Lane Theatre.
