This photo is a part of my Aunts collection of pictures, also. She has sinced passed away, but said that this photo was of William Shepherd and one of his Renfroe wives. William's son Andrew Jackson Shepherd married Laura Alice Sherrill, daughter of Samuel Sherrill. This man sure looks like all the other Shepherd men of that time period.

If this is in fact Samuel Wallace Sherrill and his second wife, Lenora, they were married in Arkansas on June 1, 1899. She was a widow, Lenora M. Killgore. SW's first wife was Mary Elizabeth Brown.
