Tennessee Burnetta "Tennie" Lewis was born September 16,1892 in Ozark county,MO;the daughter of Eugene Grant "Doc" Lewis and Lurana Carolina Russell. On September 18,1910 she married John Albert Smith (the son of William Marion Smith & Elizabeth Jane Nichols).John and Tennie had six children;one daughter died shortly after birth.John and baby daughter are buried at Clear Springs cemetery in Ozark county,MO and Tennie is buried at Mount Vernon cemetery in Clarksville,Johnson county ARK with sons Alfie,Robert,Elmer and grandson Larry Dean Smith.
