Hayden K. Monroe ([contact link]) took this picture of the tombstone of Christian aka Henry F., and his wife, located in the Alton Cemetery on Alton-Darby Road in southwest Franklin County, Ohio. Christian Carl, born in Bavaria, Germany, married Anna Mary Selbert on 19 Dec 1850. Anna Mary, also born in Bavaria, was the daughter of John Selbert and came to the United States as an infant. Christian and Anna had these children:
Augusta Carl, who married Simon Feder; Louisa C. Carl who married Adam J. Trish; John C. Carl who married Magdalena aka Lena Deitch; Isaac F. Carl who married Loris Alberta Dougherty; Elizabeth H. Carl who married George A. Geyer, Julia W. Carl who married Rudolph Hiltburner; Louis W. Carl; William C. Carl who married 1) Doris Parker, 2) Jane Parker, and 3) Jane... ; and Caroline Carl.
