Man shown is probably a son of Alexander and Margaret McDonald of the Argyle Settlement, Winnebago Co., IL.
The woman possibly a wife.
I am looking for links to my great-great-great-grandmother Margaret Nancy McDonald who was born 16 Dec 1802, at sea while coming to America from Scotland, or in New York. She married John Ladd of Andes or Bovina, New York, on the 8th of July 1820. She died in Traer, Tama Co., Iowa. Buried in Buckingham Cemetary, Buckingham, Tama Co., Iowa.
