William Franklin James Family
William Franklin James was born 12 January 1872 in Lutesville, Bollinger Co., Missouri and died 5 September 1936 in Des Arc, Iron Co., Missouri. He married Sidney Anna Vallance 27 February 1894 in Patterson, Wayne Co., MIssoui. Sidney was born 12 October 1876 in Union Township, Franklin Co., Missouri and died 2 December 1964 in Fredericktown, Madison Co., Missouri. She was the daughter of Samuel Henry Vallance and Malissa Ann "Mattie" Reynolds Vallance of Missouri. Samuel and Malissa were originally from Greenup, Greenup Co Kentucky. Sidney and William were the parents of four children. After the death of William, Sidney married John J. Henson. William, Sidney and John are buried in Des Arc Cemetery, Des Arc, Iron Co., Missouri.
