William Henry Bass
William Henry Bass b. 1866 in N.C. Son of James C. Bass and Dorothy L. Morgan Bass, of Chatham County N.C.. William married Susan Evelyn Burnett (b. 1879 VA), and had 5 children: Dewey, Ham, Bertha, John, and Rose. William and Susan are both burried in the McKeesport, Versallies Cemetery in Allegheny County, PA.
William d.18 March 1929.
Susan d. 16 July 1927.

William's father brought the family to Carter County, TN in 1870. William can be found in the Carter County Census records for census years 1870,and 1880. The only place that I can find William after 1880 is in the 1910, and 1920 Allegheny County, PA census records. It is possible that William and his wife Susan moved to Cherokee N.C. sometime after 1899 and before their move to PA.
