I have a William Doty also, from Indiana, he was my fathers younger brother. My grandfathers name ws Henry James Doty, (His father was Oscar Doty), he was married to Bertha Martha (Kennedy), and they had eight children, Marie,Arther,Olive,Ailene,Helen,Gerald (my Father),William,and Florence. They lived in Elkhart Indiana, but I believe that Oscar Doty came here from New York.

I was born Deborah Kay Doty, am 53 and lost my dad in 76. I am very interested in the Doty family histor, as there aren't any of us left and I need to know my past. I looked for and found my sister from my dads first marriage which ended in divorce during WW2, and she too is interested in our history, having never known Dad and his family
