Yakima Valley Pioneer Women
I believe this is a photo of the pioneer women of the Yakima Valley. Probably taken about the mid 1930's in the Yakima area. My great grandmother Catherine Rebecca "Kate" Irby Goodwin is in about the middle of the first standing row with the hat. She was born in 1852, so she would be around 80 years old at this time. Her husband was John Wesley Goodwin from Crawford County IL. They were one of the early settlers of the Yakima Valley, Parker Bottoms.
Date & Place: at Yakima Valley in Yakima County, Washington USA
