My Great-Grandfather and family moved to Ratcliff, Houston County,Texas around 1890, from Philadelphia,Neshoba Co.,Mississippi.William L.,was the son of Darling Barber Yates & Mary Emily (Oliver) Yates.William and Edna"Sis"had a family of ten children,six daughters & four sons.William John,the oldest son and daughters,Emily F.& Udora are not in the photo.
