My PGF's brother was Carl Korner (with the umlaut') without the umlaut it becomes Koerner and sometimes Kerner. They were from Germany. Could be related, although there are alot of Korners. Thank you for your posting-will keep in my records as I continue my search.-the baby definetly favors our Korners...
