Martin Ryan was the son of Patrick Ryan and Catherine Foley Ryan. He was born in Chicago, IL, in 1879. He was the older brother of my grandmother. Martin's whereabouts were a family mystery until I found that he had died in 1932, and buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Elgin IL.
