This is the home I remember from my very early childhood as a frequent visitor with my parents in the early 1940's.

My grandfather Sheldon Baker owned this house for as long as I can remember. He live there with his wife Martha Dzur of Benona. I believe he owned it since about 1914 when he was married for the third time. My grandmother was his second wife who died in 1913. Grandfather was a retired teacher and a Shelby councilman in the late 1930's and early '40's. All of his 7 children attended Shelby High. Any questions?

My friend is researching the Baker family. We are both from Shelby area. Do you know who owned this house? She currently owns the house that Seth Baker owned. It is in Hesperia, Ferry Township. Do you have any info for us? Thank you.
