Richard 'Dick' M. Hooley was my maternal 2nd great grand-uncle.

Richard Hooley and his family moved from Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland to Manchester, England. Richard was trained at the Hyde Academny near Manchester.

Richard was born Apr. 13, 1822 in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland. His parents were James & Ann Hooley. Richard had a brother, John Hooley & a sister Nancy Hooley. They all were in show business and his brother John ran Hooley's Theater in Brooklyn, NY.
