4G-grandmother Susannah Overton Cox was the daughter of Moses Overton. She married Curd Cox (b. 1762) in Virginia prior to their emigration to east Tennessee.
She is buried in the private Curd Cox Cemetery on their old farm in north Knox Co., TN. Descendants of a # of her Overton relatives still live in this area. DCox-Halls Crossroads
