John Cox - Beaver Ridge Lodge 366

Date taken : January 1889 Description : Per correspondence/records rec'd from the Grand Lodge of TN. in 1998, G-GF John C. Cox, was a member of Beaver Ridge Lodge # 366. Although he & wife Elizabeth still owned an 80 acre farm in Knox County, Tenn., he died in Harrington, Washington. Our oral history indicates he had been there only a short time before his death in a farming accident in 1901.
Per the local newspaper in Harrington, his funeral arrangements were handled by the Masons, of which he was a member. The Masonic emblem is etched into his gravestone. DCox-Halls Crossroads
