Can someone tell me if this is a Australian Navy uniform in WWII?..I originally thought it was Canadian but the letters on the hat look like HMAS, not HMCS..any help would be great..thanks

It's Canadian - that elusive "a" doesn't look like "A". Hat letters are HMCS
