Description :
Richard Van Tassell with his brother Pieter Van Tassel. After their father died in 1973, the family stopped gathering for Christmas. We all were busy with our lives in the 70's. Jan got divorced, Pieter married Dahn and spent 2 years in NY with Van Tassel & Mc Robbie relatives, and Richard remarried. I finally retired from the UNR Library. Richard decided that we should gather for family Thanksgivings, rotating between Reno and Castro Valley where he lived.
