Description : Family photo of Myrtle Hansen and unidentified male, possibly early 1900s.
Photographer A. H. Quinn, Artesian, SD
Mystery : Unknown if Hansen is Myrtle's maiden or married name. Possibly related to
Anna Amelia HANSEN, married Sanborn County, SD Feb. 1887 to Joseph Freland
PATTON. Anna HANSEN's parents: Henry HANSEN & Christina Hamn, b. Germany
Update: Turns out that Myrtle is my Great Grandmother Annie Hansen's half-sister. Annie's mother passed away and her father remarried and then had seven more children. I have found a descendant of my Great Grandmother's half-sister, who has this photograph and more. An interesting note, Myrtle did NOT marry the young man in the photo and no one in the family knows his name.
