Date taken : 18 Description : Field, garden...? overgrown.
A lady standing in the background.. unknown
Mystery : My grandmother had this photo.. it could be from the 1800's.. All it says on the back is Virginia..
Don't know if it is in the State of Virginia, or someone named Virginia. My grandmother (Zella Myrtle Richardson-Condley) was born in Tuckerman, AR; moved to Joplin MO; then Stapp/Heavener OK; Tucson AZ; and then to Los Angeles CA.
Since our roots for Anderson Condley and Catherine Cobb go back to Halifax County, VA; wondering if this photo could be a clue.... a possible link....

Comments about this photo:
The bush looks like the Dr. Van Fleet rose that grows so easily in Virginia, especially around Bedford and Campbell Co. It only blooms in the spring. They liked to have their picture taken behind the flowers. grainie1@bellsouth.net Submitted by: Teenie Sep 30, 2006
