Inscription on back of photo reads "The only pic of the entire Nelson family" My grandmother, Lillian Carin Swanson was sent to live on this farm about 1920 when she was orphaned in New York City. Her parents,Charles and Hilda and two sisters,Ethel and Hilda died between 1918 and 1920 during the Spanish Flu epidemic. She only new the Nelson's as Ma & Pa Nelson. She lived there until about 1925. In researching tbis family, I have found them to be Ithal(Bergstrom) Nelson, her husband, Oke Nelson and the two younger men in the back are probably their sons, Sven & Steven.
