This picture was sent to me thanks to Rhonda Rice, who obtained it from Leroy Carl's only daughter, Catherine E. Carl Phillips. The picture on the wall behind the family is the same Albert and Anna with only their first two children.
Albert M. Carl (14 Sep 1871-23 Dec 1951), was a farmer, the eldest child of Leroy Carl and Margaret Michael of Meigs Co, Ohio.
His wife, Anna Emeline Partlow (9 Jan 1879-16 May 1959) was the daughter of Moses Ackley Partlow and Sarah Emeline Carsey, and was also born in Meigs County. They married 16 Nov 1895 in London, Madison County, Ohio and moved to Champaign, Illinois abt 1905. Albert is buried at the Shilogh Cemetery in Mahomet, Illinois, and it is believed Anna is buried there beside him. One more child, Doris Elizabeth, was born to the couple abt 1917.
