Description :
These are the three children of John Albert Olson (b.IL-d.23May1963Ca)and his wife Annie Halling(b.PA-d.CA). They married about 1908 probably in Texas. John is said to have left Texas after killing a man there and fleeing from the law. Annie had given birth to Gilbert out of wedlock. Gilbert's father abandoned her and the baby. John married Annie and adopted the newborn and moved the family to CA. Gilbert is on the right in the photo, dark haired. He was born about 1907 probably in TX and married to 'Amy'. They had no children. On the left is the son of John and Annie, Edward Lawrence Olson (12May1909Bakersfield,CA-d.27Oct1984Fresno,CA) and he married first to Mollie Horn about 1933 and they had two children: Jon Eugene Olson and Marilyn Gayle Olson. He and Mollie divorced and he married second to Lucian Dee 'Polly' Pickett(b.30Jan1915Dudley,DexterCo,MO-d.31Aug2000AppleValley,CA). They had no children. They owned a grape farm near Fresno,CA. Eds son, John, married Hurlane Huntley, daughter of John Vernon Huntley and his wife Hurlane Sporleder. They had 7 children , 3 stillborn and 4 live births:Kelly,Jon-John, Thor and Heather. I have no information on whether Ed's daughter ever married. Bernice Olson (b.21Jan1918Fresno,CA-d.?), center of photo, married MR. Pinhero who died fairly young. They had three children:Monte, a boy name unk., and Vicki. They also had grandchildren, but I don't know details. As far as I know, the Pinheror line by Bernice Olson Pinhero is still in the Fresno area.
