Wm Henry Harrison was a Confederate soldier who fought for Texas. He was born in Memphis TN and died 17 May 1913 in Galveston, Galveston Co, Texas. He and his wife, who married in Polk County on Jan 3, 1877, had an unusual marriage. They never divorced, but separated after their children were grown, and lived separately each with a different daughter, yet are buried together at the Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, Jefferson Co, Texas. William's wife was Virginia Bishop, the eldest child of Ferdinand David Bishop Sr. and Mary Sharp. She was born 21 Oct 1851 in Jackson, Mississippi and died 10 Jan 1937 at home in Beaumont, Jefferson Co, Ohio. Her picture with two of her sisters is elsewhere on this site.
